2. Wilhelm Carl "William Charles" RAABE⁷ was born about 1845 in Nimmersatt, Memel, Ost Preussen (East Prussia), Preussen (Prussia).⁴ He died in 1877 at the age of 32 in Monroe County, WI.⁴ He was buried in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴

Wilhelm Carl "William Charles" RAABE and Margaretha "Margaret" PRELL were married on 23 December 1871 in New Lisbon, Juneau County, WI.^4,8 Margaretha "Margaret" PRELL, daughter of George PRELL and Anna WUNDERLICHT, was born in 1850 in Jefferson County, WI.^8,9,10,11,12 (She was listed as age 12 in the 1860 Census; that is believed to have been an error. She was not listed with her parents during the July 1850 Census, so she was probably born after then. She was listed as age 19 in the 1870 Census.) She appeared in the census in 1860 in Germantown Township, Juneau County, WI.¹⁰ She appeared in the census in 1870 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.¹² Margaret died in 1926 at the age of 76.⁸

Wilhelm Carl "William Charles" RAABE and Margaretha "Margaret" PRELL had the following children:

Albert William RAABE was born on 4 May 1875 in Wisconsin.^2,4 He appeared in the census in 1880 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.² He was living with his mother's parents and his surname was listed as "Rabe." He died on 22 January 1960 at the age of 84 in Monroe County, WI.⁴ Albert was buried in Kendall, Glendale Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴
8	iii.	George Frederick RAABE was born on 28 March 1877 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ He died on 1 October 1911 at the age of 34 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ He was buried in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴
