Descendants of Carl Wilhelm "Charles" Raabe, Sr.

Charles W. Rabe, Sr., and his wife Johana were born in Prussia in the 1820’s.

They and their three children emigrated to America in the 1850’s and settled in Oakdale Township. Their children married into family names such as Gage, Prell and Schroeder.

(Charles may have been related to one or more of the other Raabe or Rabe families that also emigrated to Monroe County, such as that of Friedrich Raabe, Sr., whose descendants are included in another report on this website.)
