She married Marvin Neubauer on June 30, 1951 in Sparta. She was a member of the Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Ruth died (of cancer of the lung and pancreas) at a hospital in Madison. She was survived by her husband, Marvin C.; three sisters, Mrs. Elva (Emil) Prise, Mrs. Beverly (Oliver) Drew, and Mrs. Carol (Arlan) Roeske; two brothers, Lyle Griggs and Claire Griggs, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold (Bud) Griggs. Ruth was buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Madison, on Saturday, May 10, 1986. Services were held at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, with Rev.
