Caroline "Lena" SCHENDEL was born on 12 May 1865 in Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).^1,3 She emigrated in February 1881 from Lonke, Inowrazlaw District, Bromberg Region, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹ She died in 1940 at the age of 75 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.³ Lena was buried in 1940 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Caroline "Lena" SCHENDEL and Alfred A. "Albert" BAUMBACH were married on 12 May 1890 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.^1,3,5 Alfred A. "Albert" BAUMBACH, son of Heinrich B. BAUMBACH and Martha Katherina KATZMANN, was born on 19 December 1864 in Middletown Township, Dauphin County, PA.^3,6,7 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Leon Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ He appeared in the census in 1880 in Wells Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ Albert died on 22 August 1922 at the age of 57 in Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.³ He was buried in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
