Wilhelm "William" SCHENDEL was born on 19 July 1841 in Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).1 He emigrated in February 1881 from Lonke, Inowrazlaw District, Bromberg Region, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).1 They supposedly emigrated on the first steamship to America on the Bremen Steamship Line and were on the water 13 1/2 days. He was naturalized on 12 October 1896 in Monroe County, WI.1 William died on 12 April 1915 at the age of 73 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.1
Wilhelm "William" SCHENDEL and Emilie BUHSE were married in Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).1 Emilie BUHSE2 was born on 21 February 1847 in Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).1 She emigrated in February 1881 from Lonke, Inowrazlaw District, Bromberg Region, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).1 She died on 18 August 1939 at the age of 92.1 (Her surname may have been "Busse.")
