Descendants of Wilhelm Schendel

Wilhelm “William” Schendel and his wife, Emilie Buhse, were born in the 1840’s in the Posen Province of Prussia.

They and their four oldest children emigrated to America in February 1881 and settled in Sparta. Their last three children were born there.

The children married into families such as Baumbach, Jahnke, Friedrich, Batten and Lemke.
