Emil Friedrich Heinrich "Henry" SCHMASOW¹⁵ was born on 12 November 1866 in Watertown Township, Dodge County, WI.^8,14,20,21 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ He appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.² Henry was confirmed on 10 April 1881 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1900 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.²² He died on 20 March 1930 at the age of 63 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹² Henry was buried in Glendive, Montana.

Emil Friedrich Heinrich "Henry" SCHMASOW and Wilhelmine Sophia "Minnie" MITTELSTAEDT were married on 3 May 1891 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^20,21,22 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Their witnesses were Franz Wilde and Margarethe Mittelstaedt. Wilhelmine Sophia "Minnie" MITTELSTAEDT¹⁵, daughter of Johann Christoph MITTELSTAEDT and Maria MUHLBRADT, was born on 17 December 1873 in Mather, Kingston Township, Juneau County, WI.^{8,20,21,22,23,24} According to the church record of her baptism, she was born in "Emres Mill.") She was baptized on 21 March 1874 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was confirmed on 25 March 1888 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Minnie appeared in the census in 1900 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.²² She died on 24 June 1952 at the age of 78 in San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, CA.²⁵ Minnie, third born, was born in Germany. She had two sisters who died on the way to America and were buried at sea. Her Father died in Germany prior to her mother leaving for America. Following the marriage to Henry Schmasow of Wilton, they moved to Richey, Montana, many years ago. To this union, seven children were born, namely Vida (died at 15 years of age, and buried at Wilton Lutheran Cemetery), Edgar, Arthur, John, Elmer, Clara and Esther. The parents retired to Glendive, Montana where it is believed Henry is buried. The family then moved to California later and it is there that Minnie died Later.
