53. Martin Earl SCHMIEDER was born on 25 November 1927 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^17,50 He died on 13 March 2013 at the age of 85 in Evansville, Rock County, WI.⁵⁰

Obituary Notes: "Martin E. Schmieder, 85, of Evansville, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Evansville Manor. He was born on Nov. 25, 1927, in Tomah, to Paul and Lydia (Bold) Schmieder. He grew up in Tomah. Martin worked at Pet Milk in Sparta, and Belleville, Wis. He then worked at Varco-Pruden Buildings as a shear operator until his retiremtent.

Martin married Ardelle A. Isensee on Aug. 6, 1949, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sparta. They moved to Brooklyn, Wis., in 1961, and settled in Evansville in 1988. Ardelle passed away on May 6, 2007. He became a resident at Evansville Manor in August 2011.
Martin is survived by his children, James Schmieder of Utah, Mary (Dale) Atkinson of Duck Creek Village, Utah, Thomas (Tammie) Schmieder of Las Vegas, and Daniel Schmieder of Evansville; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernadine VanKirk of Sparta, Beverly Heilman of Tomah, and Irene (Ron) Jensen of Sparta.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ardelle; sons, Kenneth and David; brothers, Virgil Schmieder, Paul Schmieder, Clayton Rich, and Charles Rich; and a sister, Marie Smith.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home with Father John S. Manohar officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Tomah."

Martin Earl SCHMIEDER and Ardelle ISENSEE were married on 6 August 1949 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁰ Ardelle ISENSEE died before March 2013.
