Descendants of Johannis Josephus "John" Schneberger

Johannis Josephus “John” Schneberger (later changed to Snowberry) and his wife, Barbara Reis, were born in Prussia in the early-1800’s.

They and their four oldest daughters emigrated to America in about 1852 and lived in Ohio, where another daughter was born. They then setted in Dodge County, WI, where their son, John, was born.

John married Laura Heser in Monroe County in 1879 and they had six children who married into families such as Prielipp, Bigelow, Clay and Meyer.

All of the Snowberry families in Monroe County descend from John and Barbara.
