Descendants of Wilhelm Leopold "William" Siekert

Wilhelm “William” Siekert and his wife, Henriette Mahnke, were born in Prussia in 1838. Their son, Karl Friedrich Wilhelm “Charles” Siekert, Sr., emigrated to America and married Emilie Schedler in 1887 in Norwalk. Wilhelm’s daughter, Maria Wilhelmine Siekert, also emigrated and married, first, Johann Friedrich Schedler, in 1893, and then, Heinrich Baumbach, Jr., in 1899.

It is believed that all of the Siekert family members in Monroe County descended from this family.
