Amelia Auguste "Minnie" SONNENBERG was born in April 1855 in Zlotniki, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).^13,14 (The Certificate and Record of Marriage for her marriage to Christian Becker lists her given and middle names as "Emilie Aug." So it is likely that her middle name was either "Auguste" or "Augustine.") She emigrated on 25 August 1883 from Preussen (Prussia).¹⁵ She appeared in the census in June 1900 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY.¹⁶ Minnie appeared in the census in 1910 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY.¹⁷ She was living at 50 Park Ridge Avenue in the 17th Ward and was a Widow and the Head of Household. Living with her were her children, Elizabeth, John, Clara and Emilie, as well as her aunt, Caroline. (She is listed as "Amele E. Beeler" in the Ancestry.com census index.) She died on 4 March 1918 at the age of 62 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY.^13,18 She was buried on 3 April 1918 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY.¹⁹ in the Concordia Cemetery.

Amelia Auguste "Minnie" SONNENBERG and Lorenz "Lawrence" HUBERT were married in 1875 in Pobiedziska (Pudewitz), Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).^{7,13,16,17,20} (According to the 1900 Census, they had 12 children, of whom all were living at the time. It is possible that one of the 12 was a child from her second marriage, because the 1910 Census indicated that 11 of their 11 children from her first marriage were still living.)

Lorenz "Lawrence" HUBERT, son of Ferdinandus HUBERT and Marianna STAWICKI, was born in July 1848 in Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹⁹ He emigrated on 25 August 1883 from Preussen (Prussia).¹⁵ He and his family arrived in the port of New York on the ship "Polynesia" on the #34 line. Their place of origin was Preussen, their port of departure was Hamburg, Germany, and their destination was Buffalo.

. He died on 22 November 1895 at the age of 47.¹⁹

Franz "Frank" HUBERT was born on 8 September 1875 in Zlotniki, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹⁹ He emigrated on 25 August 1883 from Preussen (Prussia).^15,21 He appeared in the census in 1910 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.²² He was a Hired Man in the household of Will Rogge on Bear Creek Road and his occupation was "Farm Laborer, General Farm." Frank appeared in the census in 1920 in Hornellsville Township, Steuben County, NY.²¹ He was living with his brother John and his occupation was "Buffing, A. J. Deer Co." He died on 21 May 1947 at the age of 71 in Hornell, Steuben County, NY.¹⁹ He was buried in Hornell, Steuben County, NY.¹⁹ in the Hope Cemetery.

Amelia Auguste "Minnie" SONNENBERG and Christian "Christ" BECKER were married on 26 April 1900 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY.²³ at St. Jacob's Church. Their witnesses were her sister Karoline and her husband, Emil Drews. (It was the second marriage for both of them.) Christian "Christ" BECKER, son of Jacob BECKER and Catherine KRONE, was born in May 1846 in Amherst, Erie County, NY.^16,23 He appeared in the census in 1900 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY.¹⁶ His household was at 50 Cordora (?) Avenue and his occupation was "Teamster." He died before June 1910 at the age of 64.¹⁷ (His second wife was listed as a Widow in the 1910 Census.)
