7. Auguste Emilie "Gusta" STOLZ was born on 5 March 1867 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.² (According to the 1920 Census, her parents were born in Posen.) She appeared in the census in 1870 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ She appeared in the census in 1880 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ Gusta was confirmed on 10 April 1881 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.² at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ She appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ Gusta appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ She died in 1936 at the age of 69.²² She was buried in 1936 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²² in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Auguste Emilie "Gusta" STOLZ and Carl Friedrich August BUSS were married on 17 May 1888 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,7,8,14 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. (According to the 1900 Census, they had 3 children, of whom all were living at the time; it is not know why only 1 was listed with them at the time. According to the 1910, they had 2 children, of whom 1 was living.) Carl Friedrich August BUSS, son of Friedrich BUSS and Auguste ZUEGE, was born in December 1866 in Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).^2,8 He emigrated in 1881 from Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).^7,8,9 (The 1900 Census listed his emigration year as 1886, the 1910 as 1878, and the 1920 as 1882. His parents listed their emigration year as 1881, so that is probably when he came to America.) He appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ His occupation was "Teamster." Carl appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ His household was on Benton Street in the 3rd Ward and his occupation was "Laboror, Day Labor." He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ His household was at 443 Benton Street in the 3rd Ward and his occupation appears to be "Coal Dealer." He died in 1947 at the age of 81.²² Carl was buried in 1947 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²² in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
