2. Ferdinand Richard STOLZ was born on 3 January 1858 in Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,2 (He was not listed with his parents in the 1870 Census.) He was confirmed on 24 March 1872 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.2 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.4 He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Works on Farm."

Ferdinand Richard STOLZ and Caroline Wilhelmine HOFFMANN were married on 15 July 1886 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.2,14,15 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Caroline Wilhelmine HOFFMANN, daughter of Christoph HOFFMANN and Anna Louisa PFARR, was born on 20 February 1864 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.2 She was baptized on 10 April 1864 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.2 in the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Her sponsors were Daniel Zellmer and Sophia Bartels. She appeared in the census in 1870 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.1 Caroline was confirmed on 25 March 1877 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.2 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She died before December 1965 at the age of 101.16
