She died on 25 October 2005 at the age of 91 in Winona, Winona County, MN.25 Obituary Notes: "Beatrice E. Hyland Dupee, 91, of Winona, MN, and formerly of Tomah, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at Winona. She was born Oct. 4, 1914, to Archie and Pauline (Ludeking) Mee in the Town of Tomah. She was united in marriage to Stanley Hyland on Dec. 7, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1960. She was a faithful member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Tomah. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the City of Tomah Water Department. Beatrice was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by a son, John (Mary) of Winona, MN, and a daughter, Jeanne (Dick) Shutter of Madison; five grandchildren, Lance (Mary) Shutter, Hollie (Mark) Engman, Erica (Steve) Hill, Kane (Kim) Shutter, and Rebecca Lubinsky; five great-grandchildren, Collier Shutter, Haley Shutter, Marci Hill, Sedona Shutter, Megen and Kaitlin Lubinsky; a sister, Vivian (Lyle) Brookman of Lakeland, FL; a brother, Benny (Erna) Mee of Tomah; a sister-in-law, Ruth Mee of Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and five brothers, Orvis, Milton, Maurice, Spencer and Herbert Mee. Funeral services were held Oct. 28, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Tomah. Pastor Martha Hampton officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, Tomah, assisted the family with the arrangements."
