Obituary Notes: "Robert “Bob” J. Steinmetz Jr., 77, formerly of Kenosha, late of Tomah and Portage, Wis., passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at Froedtert South Kenosha Campus. He was born July 20, 1941, to the late Robert J. and Bernadine (Gilner) Steinmetz Sr., in La Grange, Wis. He was educated in the schools of Tomah. On Aug. 12, 1961, he married Karen Kay Storkel. She preceded him in death Dec. 1, 2017.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, walking exercising and traveling.
Bob is survived by his sons, Scott J. Steinmetz of Kenosha and Brian D. Steinmetz of Powers Lake; his siblings, Kevin Steinmetz of Somers, John (Carol) Steinmetz of Mount Pleasant, Michael Steinmetz of Kenosha, Terri (Irving) Richmyre of Kenosha, Diane Steinmetz of Indiana, Anthony Steinmetz of Kenosha and Mark Steinmetz of Kenosha; and his five grandchildren.

A memorial service for Bob will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Bible Evangelical Free Church, 625 West Veterans St., Tomah."
