208. Martha E. "Mattie" SWEET was born in October 1882 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.^39,42 She appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁹ She was living with her parents. She lived at her home in Cass Lake, Cass County, MN in May 1919.¹⁰⁹

Martha E. "Mattie" SWEET and Louis E. BAUMGARTEN were married on 6 August 1905 in Monroe County, WI.^{42,59,102,105,200} (The date of their marriage is not listed in the Marriage Index records.) Louis E. BAUMGARTEN was born in 1882 in Wisconsin.⁶⁵ He died in 1934 at the age of 52.⁶⁵ He was buried in 1934 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶⁵ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
