Descendants of Joseph Tauber (Tiber) I

Joseph Tauber I (later changed to Tiber) and his wife, Josepha “Josephine” Zimprich, were born in Bohemia (Czech Republic) in the early-1800’s.

They emigrated to America in 1867 with her two children from an earlier marriage and settled in Oakdale Township.
Their children married into families such as Gabower, Honish, Kuhnert, Brockmann and Reis.
All of the original Tiber families in Monroe County descend from Joseph and Josephine.
