A message from the wife of Jared Baker, the son of Gregory Baker and a grandson of Lois Root, on 11/7/2021: "Good evening, Gary. I have begun researching our family line and you are testing as related to both me and my husband, Jared. I'm most interested in how you may be related to my husband and to see if you have any information about his family. His father, Gregory Morrison Baker, was adopted and we don't know much of anything about his family. He believes his mother's name was Lois Root, due to some research he conducted before he passed away last year. If that bears out to be true, it appears you would be 2nd cousins 1x removed from my husband Gregory's only child, Jared Baker. I know adoption can sometimes be a very emotional subject but I am hoping your relation is far enough away that it won't cause any family issues by reaching out. Gregory was born in 1954 (7 months before she married Gordon Ness). I would be grateful for any information you might have. Thank you! Tiffany Baker"
