2. Albertine Louise "Christine" TESKE was born on 27 April 1855 in Preussen (Prussia).^5,8 She emigrated in 1862 from Preussen (Prussia).⁴

(She was not living with her parents during the 1870 Census, so it is not known where she was living.) She was confirmed in 1869 in Eagle Lake Township, Beecher, Will County, IL.⁸ at St. John Lutheran Church. Christine died about February 1879 at the age of 23.^1,6,9 She died soon after the birth of her son, John. Her burial location is not known.

Albertine Louise "Christine" TESKE and Bernardt W. "Bernhard" RASCH were married about 1875.^1,5 Bernardt W. "Bernhard" RASCH, son of Julius RASCH and (Unknown) ZIEBELL, was born on 17 June 1846 in Preussen (Prussia).^6,8,10,11 He was born in Schnelberr and came to America to escape the war of 1876. He settled in Iroquois County, IL

He died on 29 March 1904 at the age of 57 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^6,11 He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^9,11 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Albertine Louise "Christine" TESKE and Heinrich Christoph "Henry" WILKENING were married on 8 March 1872 in Beecher, Washington Township, Will County, IL.¹ Heinrich Christoph "Henry" WILKENING, son of Johann Toennies WILKENING and Engel Maria Sophia KOLLER, was born in 1853 in Illinois.^4,12 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Crete, Will County, IL.⁴ He died in 1925 at the age of 72.¹²

Johann Heinrich Wilhelm "Henry" WILKENING was born on 2 January 1873 in Will County, IL.¹ He was baptized on 16 February 1873 in Eagle Lake Township, Beecher, Will County, IL.⁷ at St. John's Lutheran Church. He was adopted on 24 April 1888.¹ He was adopted by Albert and Mary A. (Bakker) Schroeder at the age of one year but the record was not filed until 1888. His name became "Henry F. Schroeder." (Albert was a cousin of his birth mother.)
13	ii.	August WILKENING was born on 8 October 1875 in Illinois.^6,13 He eventually changed his name to August Rasch, using the surname of his mother's second husband. He was baptized on 18 October 1875 in Woodworth, Iroquois County, IL.⁷ He died on 28 February 1952 at the age of 76 in Whatcom County, WA.¹³
