Henry VROMAN (^) was born in 1829 in Granville Township, Bradford County, PA.20,43 He appeared in the census in 1850 in Oconomowoc Township, Waukesha County, WI.24 His occupation was listed as "blacksmith" and the value of his real estate was listed as $150. He was living next door to his brother Charles. (His surname was spelled "Vroman.") He died on 3 March 1858 at the age of 29 in Monterey, Oconomowoc Township, Waukesha County, WI.4,20 Henry was buried in Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, WI.20 in the La Belle Cemetery.

Henry VROMAN (^) and Lois DUBOIS (^) were married on 19 April 1846 in Tompkins County, NY.4,44 Actually Henry Vrooman's wife "Susannah" "Lois" ?? was Anna Mattice, married a Meier/Myer/Meyer (no children) and Henry was her second husband. Thus "Mrs. Myers" was Anna Mattice.
Lois DUBOIS (^) was born on 28 August 1828 in Tompkins County, NY.24,45 (The 1910 Census record for her son James says that she was born in Pennsylvania.) She lived the home of her son, James in Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, WI about 1870.46 She appeared in the census in 1880 in Oconomowoc Township, Waukesha County, WI.47 She was living with her son and his daughter. Lois died on 3 February 1892 at the age of 63 in Oconomowoc Township, Waukesha County, WI.4,20,44

Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Lois Vroman was born in Tompkins County, New York, in the year 1828, and was married to Henry Vroman April 19, 1846. Four years later they came to this state. She has been a widow thirty-four years and an invalid eighteen years. During this period of comparative loneliness and keen suffering, she has received the untiring service of a faithful granddaughter, and has been sustained by a firm faith in the promises of God.

She leaves one son and many friends to mourn her loss. She passed away on Wednesday morning about 5 o'clock. The body was interred Thursday afternoon in La Belle Cemetery. The funeral services, which were largely attended, were conducted by Rev. E. Duckworth."
She was buried on 4 February 1892 in Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, WI.4,44 at the Labelle Cemetery.
