Vroman retired from farming in 1922. In 1984, he retired as a substitute rural mail carrier after 43 years of service in the Town of Lincoln. Survivors are his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Sally) Moe of Portage, Mrs. Floyd (Mary) Kowal of Janesville, and Mrs. Donald (Carol) Romanoski of Burnsville, Minn.; and a sister Veora Heser of Grayslake, Minn. Survivors also include eight grandchildren, Sara Moe, Marie Moe, Paula Winke, Tamra Potter, Stephen Potter, David Potter, Suzanne Romanoski, and Todd Romanoski. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Winke. Funeral services were held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 1988 in St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kirby. The Rev. Henry Klug officiated and burial was in the Warren-Mill Cemetery at Warrens." He was buried in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.109 in the Warrens Cemetery.
