30. William Harold WAEGE was born on 2 June 1912 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^12,25,28 He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁰ He appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ He was living with his brother Alvin and his wife. William appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ (He was also listed in the household of his parents.) He died on 7 May 1942 at the age of 29 in Washington.^12,25 Obituary Notes: "William Harold Waege, who lost his life while working for the Milwaukee railroad in the state of Washington on May 7, was buried beside his wife in Prairie View Cemetery, town of Hallie.

Mr. Waege was born in the town of Tomah, Wis., June 2, 1912 and was nearly 30 years of age. He was married to Miss Eleanor Wermund on October 25, 1937 and his wife preceded him in death on September 19, 1939.

Surviving are one daughter, Grace Ann, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Waege, and seven brothers and sisters: Alvin, Edward, Vere, Lyle, Harold, Frederick, Robert, Leone, Mrs. June Thom, Arlene and Don Elaine.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 12:30 o’clock from his home and at 1 o’clock from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church." He was buried on 9 May 1942 in Lake Hallie, Chippewa County, WI.^25,55 in the Prairie View Cemetery.

William Harold WAEGE and Eleanor Anna WERMUND were married on 26 October 1937.²⁵ Eleanor Anna WERMUND, daughter of Eiran WERMUND and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (WERMUND), was born on 22 January 1912 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.²⁵ She died on 19 September 1939 at the age of 27.²⁵ She was buried in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.⁴³ in the Prairie View Cemetery.
