36. Frederick Ferdinand "Fritz" WAEGE was born on 23 November 1922 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^12,25,28,30 (The birth registration records show is birth date as Nov 25, 1922.) He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ He appeared in the census in 1940 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³¹ Fritz died on 5 March 1976 at the age of 53 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.^25,30 Obituary Notes: "Frederick F. Waege, 53, of R. 4, Tomah, was dead on arrival at a Sparta hospital Friday, March 5, after an apparent heart attack at Ft. McCoy, where he worked.

He was born Nov. 23, 1922, in the Town of Tomah to Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Waege. He married Deloris Becher on Jan. 15, 1949. He farmed in the Town of Tomah. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Tomah American Legion.

He is survived by his widow, Deloris, two sons, Gary of Tomah and T.J., at home; four sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Bernice) Laudon, Mrs. Allen (Arlene) Betthauser and Mrs. Donald (Donnie) Kiefer, all of Tomah, and Mrs. June Thom of Milwaukee; and three brothers, Lyle of Merrill, Harold of Tomah and Robert of Wilton.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with Rev. David Hoyme officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. Friends may call at the Ninneman Funeral Home, Tomah Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 11 a.m. and at the church Monday from 1 p.m. until the service." He was buried on 8 March 1976 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^30,33 at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Frederick Ferdinand "Fritz" WAEGE and Deloris Elaine "Lori" BECHER were married on 15 January 1949 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^35,65,66 Deloris Elaine "Lori" BECHER, daughter of Jon BECHER and Esther Caroline EBERHARDT, was born on 11 March 1932 in Monroe County, WI.^6,28,66 She died on 2 May 2020 at the age of 88 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶⁶

Obituary Notes: "Deloris E. Waege, 88 of Tomah passed peacefully on May 2, 2020 in Tomah. She was born on March 11, 1932 to Jon and Esther Becher. On Jan. 15, 1949, she was united in marriage to Frederick Waege in the Township of Ridgeville. Deloris enjoyed reading and cheering on her favorite football team the Green Bay Packers.
 
She is survived by her children, Gary (Susan) and Todd J. Waege, a grandson Brent, a grandson Jason (Ashley) and a great granddaughter, Emmalynn all of Tomah. She is further survived by nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Edward, Raymond and Leonard and a sister, Arlene Miller.
