Descendants of Eduard "Edward" Wappler, Sr.

Eduard Wappler, Sr., and his wife, Friederike Marten, were born in Prussia in the mid-1800’s.

They were first found in Wilton Township in the 1880 Census with their three oldest children. Another five children were born after that. Their children married into families such as Kubycheck, Paeth, Wood and Koehler.

All of the original Wappler families in Monroe County descended from Eduard and Friederike.
