Descendants of Julius Johann Wendtland, Sr.

Julius Johann Wendtland, Sr., and his wife, Juliane Friederike Schedler, were born in Prussia in the 1830’s. She died in 1867 and he then married Wilhelmine Gerke.

His children from the two marriages married into families such as Keller, Bell, Newman, Ludeking, Rosenow and Wagner.
All of the original Wendtland families in Monroe County descended from Julius and his two wives.
