64. Abigail C. "Abbie" WOODARD²² was born on 5 April 1864 in Ontario Province, Canada.^23,79 She died on 8 November 1919 at the age of 55 in Tomahawk, Lincoln County, WI.⁷⁹

Abigail C. "Abbie" WOODARD and Herbert L. CONANT were married on 8 August 1882 in Tunnel City, Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷⁹ Herbert L. CONANT²², son of Truman CONANT and Melissa SANFORD, was born on 8 August 1861 in Viroqua, Viroqua Township, Vernon County, WI.⁷⁹
Herbert L. Conant was a well known citizen of Tomahawk for many years in the employ of the C.M.& ST. Paul Rail Road. He was born near Viroqua,Vernon County Wis. on 8 Aug. 1861. He was the son of Truman and Melissa Sanford Conant.
The father was born in Pennsylvania of dutch ancestry and the mother in New York State of English-Dutch ancestry. Having settled in Vernon County Wis. after their marriage they resided there some years until their son Herbert was about six years old when they moved to Sparta, Monroe County, where they resided for six years. Then with Truman's health failing, he moved with his wife about 1885 to a farm near Tunnel City where his wife Melissa died in 1898.

Herbert L. Conant was married 8/8/1882 to Abigail C. Woodard daughter of Silas and Lucinda Woodard of Tunnel City Wis. She was born in Ontario Canada 4/5/1864. In 1868 she and her parents moved to New York State and later to Tunnel City. She died in Tomahawk Wis. 11/8/1919 as a result of being struck by an automobile while she was crossing 4th street on foot.
The Herbert L. Conants were the parents of 5 children, Roy A. born 3/14/1884, Percy born 3/17/1886 and died 11/12/1886,
Lloyd W. born 9/3/1887, Alma P born 3/27/1890 who married Harry Theiler, and Archie T. born 6/12/1894. After his wife's death Herbert L. lived with his daughter Mrs. Harry Theiler at 7 E. Spirit Ave. Tomahawk, Wis.
