(His surname is listed as "Von Hayden" in the Monroe County marriage records.) Wilhelmine Katelina Amelina "Minnie" WOLF was born on 12 February 1852 in Watertown, Jefferson County, WI.13 Her parents died of cholera in 1859 and she was put in an orphanage. Her grandmother, Mrs. Staff, then took her, later bringing her to Tomah. (Monroe County Heritage Book article 97) She appeared in the census in 1900 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.9 She appeared in the census in 1910 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.14 She was a widow and her occupation was "Farmer, General Farm." Minnie died on 26 February 1915 at the age of 63.13 She was buried in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.8,13 in the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Indian Creek.
