He appeared in the census in 1810 in Westfield, Hampden County, MA. He died on 8 September 1825 at the age of 36 in Northampton Township, Summit County, OH. Electa FOWLER (*) and Moses DEWEY (*+) were married on 9 August 1813 in Westfield, Hampden County, MA. She must have been visiting in Westfield, MA, when she met Moses. They married there and then returned to her birth place in Ohio, where their children were born. She may have been a descendant of Ambrose Fowler, one of the founders of Westfield. 45. Electa FOWLER (*) was born on 2 May 1790 in Westfield, Hampden County, MA. (The attached map is of the North Hampton, Clark County, OH, area. North Hampton is located south of Cleveland.) She died in 1843 at the age of 53 in Northampton Township, Summit County, OH.

The household consisted of one male, age 20-30 (possibly Richard, age 25); two males, age 15-20 (possibly Ralph, 16 and Norman, 20); one female, age 10-15 (possibly Mary, age 14); and one female, age 15-20 (possibly Permelia, age 18). If that was him and his siblings, their mother may have died before 1840. He died on 29 June 1881 at the age of 66 in Solon, Cuyahoga County, OH. | | ii. | Electa DEWEY was born in 1816 in North Hampton, Clark County, OH. She died in 1816 at the age of 0. | 22 | iii. | Norman N. DEWEY (*+). | | iv. | Pamelia DEWEY was born on 6 January 1822 in North Hampton, Clark County, OH. She appeared in the census in 1850 in Flora Township, Sauk County, WI. She appeared in the census in 1860 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI. Pamelia appeared in the census in 1870 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI. She appeared in the census in 1880 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI. (She could not be located in Monroe County in the 1900 Census, although she died there in 1901.) She died on 3 January 1901 at the age of 78 in Oakdale, Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI. According to the Death Registration record, she died of "heart disease," which she had suffered for ten years. Pamelia was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. in the Oak Grove Cemetery. (She also has a gravestone marker in the Ridgeville Methodist Cemetery on Highway A.) | | v. | Judge Ralph DEWEY was born on 8 January 1824 in Northampton Township, Summit County, OH. He owned 40 acres on 10 August 1858 in Monroe County, WI. Although he lived in Iowa, he is believed to have been the Ralph Dewey who purchased property described as "the South East Quarter, of the South West Quarter, of Section fifteen in Township Sixteen, North of Range two West, in the District of Lands subject to sale, at the La Crosse, Wisconsin." He died on 8 April 1896 at the age of 72 in Washington, Washington County, IA.
