Descendants of August Louis Blado
August Louis Blado was born in Prussia in 1830, and he and his wife, Louise Plagens, are the earliest known ancestors of many of the Blado family members that settled in Monroe County. Their son, Rudolph, emigrated in 1879 and married Emma Marie Louise Graewin.
Other Blado family members in the Tomah area descended from Wilhelm Bloedo, whose descendants are included in another report.
It is likely that both families originally used the spelling of "Bloedo."
