Descendants of August Johann "John" Borchardt

August Johann "John" Borchardt and his wife, Johanna "Hannah" (Unknown) are the earliest known ancestors of this branch of the Borchardt family. They married in Prussia in about 1855 and eventually settled in Milwaukee. They had eight children.

One of their grandsons, Arthur William "Art" Borchardt, married Helen Lottie Vandervort in 1941.
