3. Alwine Maria "Alvina" BUCHHOLZ⁵ was born in 1864 in Wisconsin.^8,9 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Crystal Lake Township, Marquette County, WI.⁴ (She was listed as "Mary.") She appeared in the census in 1880 in Crystal Lake Township, Marquette County, WI.² Alvina died on 11 July 1931 at the age of 67.^5,9 (The cemetery records list her date of death as 31 July.) She was buried in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ in the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Indian Creek.

Alwine Maria "Alvina" BUCHHOLZ and Friedrich Samuel "Fred" PROCHNOW Sr. were married on 6 April 1886 in Crystal Lake Township, Marquette County, WI.⁵ Friedrich Samuel "Fred" PROCHNOW Sr., son of Johann Samuel PROCHNOW and Wilhelmine SCHULZ, was born on 9 November 1860 in Gornitz, Kreis Filehne, Bromberg Regierungsbezirk (District), Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).⁵ He emigrated on 9 October 1881 from Gornitz, Kreis Filehne, Bromberg Regierungsbezirk (District), Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹⁰ He appeared in the census in 1920 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ Fred died on 12 June 1921 at the age of 60.⁵ He was buried in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.^5,9 in the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Indian Creek.
