(The 1880 and 1900 Census' listed his surname as Kuhl. His gravestone lists his name as "Henry A. Kuehl.). He was baptized on 29 April 1838 in Daber, Kreis Naugard, Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).37,38 The witnesses at his baptism were: Johann Kuhl of Roggow; Fred Backhaus of Karow; Friedrich (?) Kuhl of Roggow; Friederike Zach (?) of Hoffelde; and Henriette Frohler (?) of Benz. He emigrated in 1856 from Daber, Kreis Naugard, Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).9,35,36 (The 1900 Census listed his emigration year as 1856 and indicated that he had been in America for 44 years.) Henry appeared in the census in 1860 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.4 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.14 His occupation was "Farmer." He appeared in the census in 1880 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.2 Henry appeared in the census in 1900 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.36 He died on 6 January 1910 at the age of 71.22,35 He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.22,26 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Heinrich August Friedrich "Henry" KUHL and Wilhelmine "Minnie" UTKE were married on 6 October 1867 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.6,9,29 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Theirs was the ninth marriage at the church.
