(The Monroe County marriage records contain an entry for an Ida Koppen marrying Friedrich Goeburg on April 12, 1890. This may have been her.) She appeared in the census in June 1870 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ She appeared in the census in 1880 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.²

Ida Marie Caroline KOEPPEN and Friedrich W. C. GOERBING were married on 12 April 1890 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^31,32 Friedrich W. C. GOERBING, son of Charles GOERBING and Elizabeth STEFFEN, was born in 1860 in Wisconsin.³¹ He died in 1946 at the age of 86.³¹ (His surname may have been Goeburg.)
