Between 1909 and 1930 Henry was in Waterbury, Waterbury Township, New Haven County, CT.⁴⁰⁵ His occupation was "Sales, The Bristol Company." He registered for the Military Draft about 1917 in Waterbury, Waterbury Township, New Haven County, CT. ⁵⁸ He appeared in the census in 1930 in Waterbury, Waterbury Township, New Haven County, CT.⁴⁰⁶ He was listed as married, but he was living by himself at 222 Pine Street. His occupation was listed as "Sales Manager, Instrument Factory." After 1930 he was in New Haven County, CT.⁸⁶ He was an insurance agent. Between 1932 and 1943 Henry was in Waterbury, Waterbury Township, New Haven County, CT.¹⁴² His occupation was "Director, Bristol Co. Oft River Road Platts Mills Bridge." She appeared in the census on 4 April 1950 in Waterbury, Waterbury Township, New Haven County, CT.⁴⁰⁸ Harriett died on 15 August 1974 at the age of 77 in Middlebury, New Haven County, CT.^31,50,410 Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Harriett (Aiken) Griggs, 77, widow of Henry L. Griggs, formerly of Waterbury, died Thursday at the Middlebury Convalescent Hospital after a long illness.

She was born June 2, 1897, in Pittsburgy, Pa., daughter of the late Herman and Lucinda (Connel) Aiken. She had been a long-time resident of Waterbury and was a member of the First Congregational Church.

Mrs. Griggs leaves three sons, Henry, Jr. and Edward, both of New York city, and Thomas, of Milford; two brothers, Edward, of Fox Chapel, Pa., and Herman, Jr., of Sohola, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Levi Wilcox Chapel of the First Congregational Church in Waterbury, with the Rev. B. Kenneth Anthony officiating.

Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Terryville. Friends may call at the Alderson Funeral Home, 70 Central Ave., Waterbury, today from 2 to 4 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Memorial Fund of the First Congregational Church in Waterbury." She was buried in Terryville, Plymouth Township, Litchfield County, CT.²⁵⁸ in the Hillside Cemetery.
