Frances Alverda O'SHEA was born on 28 February 1919 in Billings, Yellowstone County, MT.^{25,42,268,277,420,628} She appeared in the census in June 1920 in Carbon County, MT.²⁷⁷ She appeared in the census in 1930 in Roberts, Carbon County, MT.²⁶⁸ Frances died on 9 July 1975 at the age of 56 in Red Lodge, Carbon County, MT.^25,42,628 Obituary Notes: "Services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Lowry Funeral Home for Frances A. Long, 56. Mrs. Long died early Wednesday morning at Deaconess Hospital in Billings.

She was born February 28, 1919, at Bridger, Montana, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James O'Shea. She attended Grade School in Roberts, Montana and high school in Red Lodge and Billings.

She was married to Charles Long on March 25, 1936, in Billings. They ranched at Luther, Montana for a number of years. Mrs. Long later cooked on various dude ranches. In 1953, the family moved to Big Timber and have resided here since. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her father and sister.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Long, Big Timber; three sons, James Long, Jerry Long, and Mike Long, all of Big Timber; her mother, Mrs. Mary A. O'Shea, Red Lodge; two brothers, Pat O'Shea, Big Timber and Jim O'Shea, Luther; four sisters, Mrs. Ramon Hyem, Red Lodge, Mrs. Johnny Branger, Livingston, Mrs. Walter Robertson, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Mrs. Marcus Dell, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Donald Mackay of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Billings officiated at the services.
Organist was Mrs. David Roys and soloist was David Roys. Casket bearers were Buzz Flanagan, John Deegan, Clem Stirn, Ron Widdicombe, Emil Hauge, and Al Deegan. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery." She was buried in Big Timber, Sweet Grass County, MT.^25,42 in the Mountain View Cemetery.

Frances Alverda O'SHEA and Charles Murl "Charley" LONG were married on 25 March 1936 in Red Lodge, Carbon County, MT.⁴² Charles Murl "Charley" LONG²⁵ was born on 25 September 1904 in St. Clair, Franklin County, MO.^25,42 He died on 2 September 1990 at the age of 85 in Red Lodge, Carbon County, MT.^25,42 He was buried in Big Timber, Sweet Grass County, MT.²⁵ in the Mountain View Cemetery.
