She emigrated in July 1857 from Germany.³⁹ She lived at her home in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI in August 1901.¹⁵ Julia appeared in the census in 1920 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁸ She lived at her home in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI in April 1926.¹⁵ She died on 24 May 1937 at the age of 88 in Monroe County, WI.^4,39 Julia was buried in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁰ in the Clifton Township Cemetery.

Anna Juliane "Julia" ROEDER and Johann Jakob DEUCHLER were married on 2 March 1869 in Monroe County, WI.^2,39,41 Johann Jakob DEUCHLER⁴² was born on 24 January 1841 in Baden-Wurttemberg Province, Preussen (Prussia).^4,7,39,40 His surname was spelled "Deuchler" in the obituary of his wife's mother. His children and his gravestone spelled it "Deichler." He died on 5 October 1907 at the age of 66 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.^7,39,43 (He may have died 12 December 1907.) He was buried in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁰ in the Clifton Township Cemetery. (His surname may have been spelled "Deichler.")
