Ruderick name came from the Historian of Jefferson Co., Suzanne Wiley, she is posted under Jefferson Co. , NY. She evidently was given the name from someone, but you might want to check with her. She is not an easy person to get ahold of, so don't expect an answer right away, if ever. If she does answer, I would be mighty surprised. I don't use it, just put it there in case someone ever does come up with it. Most of the time it is Rutsey.

Rutsey Rudrick WOODARD Sr. and Mary "Anna" ANNIS were married about 1792 in Vermont.^2,6,7 Mary "Anna" ANNIS⁶ was born in 1775.² She appeared in the census in 1820 in Champion Township, Jefferson County, NY.⁴ She appeared in the census in 1830 in Champion Township, Jefferson County, NY.⁵ Anna died on 29 May 1845 at the age of 70 in Springford, Oxford County, Ontario Province, Canada.² (Her date of death may have been 20 May 1845.) She was buried in Otterville, Ontario, Canada.⁷
