1. Patrick ARITY was born in 1788 in Ireland.^1,2,3 He lived in Eaton Township, Madison County, NY on 7 August 1820.³ He appeared in the census in 1830 in Eaton Township, Madison County, NY.³ Patrick appeared in the census in 1840 in Eaton Township, Madison County, NY.³ He appeared in the census in 1850 in Jefferson Township, Jefferson County, WI.² His household consisted of himself and his children Henrietta and James, so his wife may have died before the census. His occupation was "Farmer." He died on 20 April 1854 at the age of 66 in Pratts Hollow, Madison Township, Madison County, NY.³ Patrick was buried in Pratts Hollow, Madison Township, Madison County, NY.³ in the Fairview Cemetery.

Patrick ARITY and Clara SPOOR were married about 1811.^1,4 Clara SPOOR³ was born in 1790 in New York.³ She died on 1 September 1836 at the age of 46 in Eaton Township, Madison County, NY.³ She was buried in Pratts Hollow, Madison Township, Madison County, NY.³ in the Fairview Cemetery. (Her name is listed as Clara Lucinda Parker in some sources.)
