Johann Christian MARTEN Sr. and Anna Elizabeth HELMKE were married in 1798.^1,2 Anna Elizabeth HELMKE, daughter of Johan Joch HELMKE, was born on 12 August 1779 in Spornitz, Neustadt, Kreis Ludwigslust-Parchim, Mecklenburg-Schwerin Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹
